Talk is cheap. Here's what happened when I got involved. Real projects, real results.
Market Viability Calculator | Wild Kratts Live
Entering a new touring market was a gut call with real financial risk. I built a calculator that took in venue capacity, household income, and historical revenue for a market, among other factors, and spit out a single percentage. If it cleared the threshold, the market was worth booking. The tool helped drive a 317% increase in average box office revenue in one year. Separately, I identified four near-sold-out markets that could support additional shows, adding meaningful revenue without the risk of expanding into a new one.
CRM Cleanup | Amanda Miller, Real Estate Broker
Amanda's contacts were duplicated across her CRM, Gmail, and iCloud, with no way to keep them in sync. I deduplicated the entire database, then built a sync between all three platforms so it wouldn't fragment again - something I'd never done before, and Apple does not make it easy! I walked her through the new system and troubleshot the sync until it held. "I'm still not entirely sure how, but she did!"
Operational Partnership | Unbridled Retreats
The Founder, Devon, was running a luxury retreat brand alone: pricing, content, systems, strategy - all on her. I built the pricing strategy for the alumni program and online course, created a portal for certified coaches, and took newsletters and promotional video editing off her plate entirely. I also became the sounding board she didn't have, someone to brainstorm and strategize with, not just execute for her. For the first time in years, she got her weekends back and had real support while she was at retreats, fully focused on clients instead of splitting her attention.
E-Commerce Build | Rocky & Julio
I built this e-commerce brand from zero: sourced and imported inventory from the US and Australia, shot all product photography, built vendor relationships, and ran every operational function: finance, procurement, marketing, customer service, content. It landed on page one of Google search results for its core keywords, got featured in Modern Dog Magazine and three separate 2014 holiday gift guides, and I was interviewed on CTV Morning Live Ottawa. The brand ran until 2015.
Merchandise Division Rebuild | Wild Kratts Live
I rebuilt merchandise forecasting from the ground up: a formula tying product mix to per-ticket sales data, forecasting months ahead for overseas factory orders across 45+ annual tour stops, and a real system for tracking what sold at every venue, replacing pen-and-paper tracking. I brought in a third-party inventory management company in the US to cut shipping and holding costs, set up card payment processing for a division that had run on cash only, and negotiated merch splits directly with venues to protect revenue on every show.
Resource and Capacity Planning | Simple Story Videos
New client work often got taken on with fingers crossed rather than a real read on capacity, which meant contractors sometimes got hired at the last minute and the core team had to scramble to fill the gaps. I built a resource planning and forecasting process so the team could confidently commit to new work, and handle it when it landed, with an actual plan behind it.
